Lapham-Hickey Steel Oshkosh Adds Bystronic Fiber Lasers

Two Bystronic BySprint Fiber lasers have been installed at Lapham-Hickey Steel in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

The two Bystronic  BySprint Fiber 3015; Fiber lasers were installed in March and April of 2016.  This newer technology will provide faster throughput rates in light-gauge to medium –gauge thickness in carbon (.750”), stainless (.625”), and aluminum (.625”).  This new equipment complements the current CO2 lasers and other value added equipment which includes: band and cold sawing, flame/plasma cutting, forming, and welding.
