With Lapham-Hickey's sophisticated slitting equipment, you can count on precise
material that eliminates out-of-tolerance problems. We offer the widest gauge
range (.001"-.312") for slitting in the industry, as well as superior edge registry
and very tight slit width tolerances
Take, for example, our Maxisota slitter, which delivers tightly wound coils with
absolutely minimal camber. Width tolerances can be held to as close as +/- .002".
Other features include X-ray gauging, and a roll-type tension unit that prevents
marring of the material surface.
The Cauffield heavy gauge slitter can cut material up to .312" thick, and our
tooling allows us to process widths as narrow as .500".
Our Stanat slitter features a slip core rewind system. Slit coils from .001" to
.030" thick and as narrow as .125 wide can be tightly rewound into coils with
no surface marring and no need for filler substance.
